Tango / Rigel

Tuesday, Sept 24th in the morning, we picked him up from Kim at Argos Dog Shelter Rescue. (Long story and massive stress and work and worry trying to be worthy of him.) Their Facebook post said,"Tango" 10 weeks old. 8.5#

He was a breeder surrender because the end of his nose was bald and the inside of his ears were sluffing off skin.  They said what he had really fast, once in passing.  I think it was Dermatoses -- they thought from issues with maternal nutrition?  A scratch and dent, buff-colored Moyen poodle "with apricot tips."  French for Medium. Popular in Europe. 15" - 20" at the shoulder, and about 15-35 lbs.

We named him Rigel.  Brightest star in the constellation Orion.  And Rygel, 16th Dominar of Hyneria -  a Jim Henson puppet from 1990s sci fi series, Farscape.
