Miraculous discovery— the fig is alive?!

Trying to put up shade cloth on the backside of the chicken coop Tuesday afternoon I happened to glance down on my way in and out and see a patch of green leaves that were unusual. I bent down and tugging aside the bindweed, looked more carefully and lo and behold they were fig leaves!We had completely given it up for dead over the winter.
